Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Meet your guide for a pre-trek briefing and equipment check. Rest well as you prepare for your incredible adventure.

Day 2: Lemosho Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp (9,498 ft)
After breakfast, drive to Lemosho Gate for registration. Begin your trek through lush rainforest, home to monkeys and vibrant birdlife. Arrive at Mti Mkubwa Camp, where you’ll spend your first night under the stars.

Day 3: Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 Camp (11,500 ft)
Trek through moorland, leaving the forest behind. Enjoy sweeping views of the Shira Plateau as you ascend. Camp at Shira 1 and take in your first glimpse of Kibo Peak in the distance.

Day 4: Shira 1 to Shira 2 Camp (12,600 ft)
Enjoy a leisurely hike across the Shira Plateau, one of Kilimanjaro’s most beautiful landscapes. Reach Shira 2 Camp, where you’ll have time to acclimatize and marvel at the surrounding vistas.

Day 5: Shira 2 to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower (15,190 ft)
Ascend to Lava Tower for lunch and acclimatization, then descend to Barranco Camp. This hike is crucial for acclimatization and offers dramatic views of the Barranco Wall and the summit.

Day 6: Barranco to Karanga to Barafu Camp (15,331 ft)

Day 7: Barafu to Uhuru Peak (19,341 ft) to Mweka Camp
Begin your summit attempt around midnight, trekking through the night to reach Uhuru Peak at sunrise. Celebrate at the roof of Africa before descending to Barafu Camp for a short rest. Continue down to Mweka Camp for your final night on the mountain.

Day 8: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate (5,364 ft)
Enjoy a leisurely trek through lush rainforest to Mweka Gate, where you’ll receive your summit certificate. Transfer back to your hotel in Arusha for a well-deserved rest and celebration.
