Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive in Arusha, where you’ll be greeted by our team and transferred to your hotel. Relax and prepare for your trekking adventure with a pre-climb briefing from your guide, covering essential tips and safety information.

Day 2: Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Start your trek with a drive to Machame Gate, where registration takes place. Begin the climb through lush rainforest, encountering unique flora and fauna along the way. Arrive at Machame Camp (2,835m) for your first night on the mountain.

Day 3: Machame Camp to Shira Camp
Today’s trek takes you out of the forest and onto moorland terrain, with incredible views of Mount Meru and the Shira Plateau. Arrive at Shira Camp (3,750m) in time to relax and enjoy the stunning sunset.

Day 4: Shira Camp to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower
Acclimatization begins as you hike to Lava Tower (4,630m) before descending to Barranco Camp (3,976m). This day helps your body adjust to the altitude while treating you to spectacular views of the Western Breach and Barranco Wall.

Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Tackle the iconic Barranco Wall, a thrilling challenge with rewarding views. The trail then leads to Karanga Camp (3,995m), where you’ll enjoy a shorter day to help with acclimatization.

Day 6: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
A steady ascent takes you to Barafu Camp (4,673m), the base camp for your summit attempt. Spend the afternoon resting and preparing for the climb to Uhuru Peak. Early dinner and rest are crucial as the summit push begins around midnight.

Day 7: Summit Day and Descent to Mweka Camp
Begin your final ascent in the dark, climbing steep switchbacks toward Stella Point (5,756m). Witness a breathtaking sunrise before continuing to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the roof of Africa. Celebrate your achievement before descending to Mweka Camp (3,068m) for a well-earned rest.

Day 8: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate and Departure
